Your map would be viable if Obama approval are more then 49%.

If his approval his in the 40s this the map

Walker 297
Biden 241

If Obama approval in the mid to upper 30s

Walker 317
Biden 221

Lower 30s or less

Walker 332
Biden 206

This is totally JMO, but Obama was an exceptional candidate for culturally liberal areas like NH and NOVA.  I'm skeptical how much that will carry over.  I certainly don't think, in a Walker vs. Biden election, NH would be a Democratic state.

Get real. Biden wont win anything. He'd gaff his way to a 55-45 defeat.

It's interesting, why do we assume Hillary Clinton will out perform Biden? Biden, from what I see, is the far more charismatic and personable candidate. Biden is also the guy with the populist schtick down flat.

I can actually see the country electing "Uncle Joe" Biden, with Biden victories in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Colorado, and Nevada.

Uncle Joe would make one idiotic statement after another on the campaign trail. Unless the whole "Crazy Joe" routine is an act.

Every single poll in existence, for one thing. And the name recognition argument is invalid here for obvious reasons.

He might be more "personable", but he also has a reputation as a gaffe machine and is seen by many as not presidential. He'd also be 74 at the start of his first term.

I know it's in vogue for Republicans to talk about how Democrats who won't be the nominee would be SO much stronger than Hillary though. I'm sure we'll soon be hearing about the historic Bernie Sanders landslide that Dems are foolishly passing up by nominating Hillary. Wink

The default map would be a decent Republican win.

Walker/ Rubio- 315 Electoral Votes
Biden/ Gilibrand- 223 Electoral Votes

Biden isn't a tremendous political talent, nor is he demographically a strong candidate (74 year old white guy.) In a neutral environment, I'd expect Walker to do better. He's a fresh face, and swing state Governor.
