Looks like we will just end up with the Big 4, which is predictable and a bit boring.
Voted for Finland just to keep one of the smaller countries in.
My actual favourite is long gone Portugal.
Italy is not a big country.
It is by European standards. Fourth largest population in the EU at 61 mio. - only slightly behind Britain and France and with a larger territory than the UK.
By that logic Sweden and Finland are big countries where territory goes. Italy is towards the middle of the pack on that
And economically Italy is certainly not the biggest.
What part of "Fourth largest population in the EU at 61 mio. - only slightly behind Britain and France" did you not understand?
I did not include GDP, but Italy has the 8th or 9th largest GDP in the world (depending on which count you use). Fourth largest in Europe.
UN (2013) GDP (Millions of US$)
1 USA 16,768,100
2 China 9,181,204
3 Japan 4,898,532
4 Germany 3,730,261
5 France 2,806,432
6 UK 2,678,455
7 Brazil 2,243,854
8 Italy 2,149,485
When I say Italy is a Big 4 country in the EU answering "Italy is not a big country" is simply absurd. A country does not have to be big by world standards to be among the biggest in the EU.
