Bob Corker said he was open to running back in August, but has now apparently bowed out of the race because the field is "shaping up in a good way":

Too bad. He would've been a good candidate.

He would have brought Southern voters in droves in November 2016 to the polls, with his foreign policy expertise and his business credentials. I could see him considered for a VP slot.

This further causes speculation that he's gonna switch places with Haslam in 2018

LOL. Yeah, Southern Republicans are just chomping at the bit to turn out and cast their vote for Bob Corker.

He is chair of the Foreign Affairs committee and pretty much indicated at the time he got that position that he wouldn't run.

His fellow Tennessee Republican, Bill Haslam, would, imo, make for the more interesting candidate, but there is no indication he is interested in running either.

Oh thank the lord. Corker is one who deserves a good teabagging.

That's good, while he's at it he should probably not run for any office.
