I'm very sad about this. The network core is all gone and South Park can't be too far behind.

Kristen Schaal is one of my favorites, but I doubt she's under consideration. Small role + 2 other significant voice commitments. Most may think she's better in a niche role, but I think she could carry it.

If they stick with the cast, Samantha Bee and Jason Jones hosted the Rosewater episode I think. A dual anchor format could be possible. Jessica Williams possible too, but I think the other two are up ahead of her.

Well, they can't possibly do worse than with Colbert's replacement.

Wilmore has pleasantly surprised me. Certainly no Colbert and occasionally comes across as fake, but he's entertaining enough until Colbert starts.

Very sad; he was one of my favorites, and with many once-prominent correspondents having already gone, it's hard to say who will succeed him. Jason and/or Sam would both be fantastic choices. I'd probably stop watching if they picked Jessica Williams.

He's so anti-funny. He's not even unfunny, he's the opposite of funny. He works well enough as a contributor, but he can't host his own show.

He's not gonna stick around for the 2016 Presidential election? That sucks.

Awful news. He's my favorite.

Sucks. John Oliver would be a perfect replacement too but his new show is perhaps even better so I won't complain there.

Obviously, I wish Jon the best in all his future endeavors.

In terms of replacements, I recommend Graham Norton (Irish comic TV host, currently hosting The Graham Norton Show on BBC), Conan O'Brien (Former Late Night and the Tonight Show host, currently doing a similar show, Conan on TBS) or Chelsea Handler (Formerly host of Chelsea Lately)

Replacing John Stewart probably requires another big name.

Chelsea Handler (Formerly host of Chelsea Lately)

I will literally never watch this channel again.

Samantha Bee should get it. If not her: bring back Wyatt Cenac.

Tina Fey is the obvious choice

Unless Oliver's HBO show gets cancelled before Stewart leaves (not likely), I'll agree with this.
