Update on Allison:  We are back to being good friends.  She was in Tulsa yesterday for a doctor's appointment and she called and asked if she could stop by for a few minutes.  I was happy to have her over.  We visited about several things for about 30 minutes including a non-profit business that she is trying to start up and obtain a 501 (3) (c) status on it.  She wants me to hop on board with her handling the social media platform as kind of a second job from my regular job.  It is a side business for her and she is keeping her job at the university because of the health insurance.  She doesn't have the luxury of Indian Health Care.  I need more information on the business before I go into it with her, such as what it does, but it is a nice gesture at the very least.

This sounds like a truly fantastic potential storyline! Bravo!

He also views divorce as more immoral and unforgivable as a sin than premartial sex, which is still sinful but redeemable.

Guess which of those two sins Bushie accidentally committed.

Wait wait wait, I guess this was before my time: How did Bushie accidentally have sex?

I don't think it was "accidental" per se. it was right after he got engaged in Arkansas, no? And then the engagement with Tiffanye ended. (And from what I can dig up, there was another time three years earlier which we don't talk about because it's not part of the story.)

a working definition of "accidentally" here should be 'without intention aforethought'

From what I remember, he went to Arkansas to attend a wedding with Tiffanye (I think), and they had unplanned sex in the hotel room. Then they broke up. Then he thought he was going to be a father because sex education is illegal in Oklahoma. Then he realized he was not. So he adopted some African children, who are probably no longer with us (RIP).

Ah yes, Bushie slips her the peeper for 30 seconds and immediately goes on here saying he is going to have a child. Great times.

I really miss early update when the conflict was external, the hero clear, and the plot linear.

Unlike with JJ aka Blondie, this particular RIP is not really Bushie's fault though. We can't expect Bushie to transform Africa into a livable place for destitute orphans.

I'm sad that thread was deleted. My favorite all time Update quote will always be: I am going to be a father. then he went on to explain he will be a real dad and not just a stand in for Tiffanye's other child.

I'm not sure what the worst part about Bushie with a baby would be. Probably having his 100 year old Grandma babysit for junior while Bushie takes a nap.

What if there is a Bushie Cargo Cult existing in rural Africa? His "children" grow up associating letters from him with his picture with getting toiletries and clothing and basic household goods. They document these events in a book that they copy and distribute to others. And they insist that just as Bushie once visited them in Africa, someday, he will come again a second time - a Second Coming, if you will.

Probably 2 double cheeseburgers with plenty of fries and a generous helping of French Silk Pie.

In other news, I think I found someone who is more energetic about Christmas than I am.  The City of Tulsa.  We are still 10 months from Christmas 2015, but the City is already planning the 2015 Christmas Parade going so far as to setting a date - December 12.  I'm early, but I'm still at least 3-4 months from starting Christmas, but these guys take the cake...

Uh no, for a large city that kind of municipal event planning so far ahead is necessary.

I guess it is.  Still, though, even the thought of Christmas in late February seems awfully early.  As an individual with no big event to plan for, I start Christmas between Mother's Day and Memorial Day.  Usually around graduation season in Oklahoma.

Yes yes, we already know you begin celebrating Christmas in the Spring.  What we only just discovered last December however is you stop celebrating it a few days before Christmas Eve.

No, because not dieting or at least attempting to diet for 7 straight months would be near suicide...

Ugh, pathetic. You've now had more cheat days this week, than I have all month. Apparently, you have no self control.

I just don't apply myself and exercise my self control very often.  I need to and it would save me a lot of trouble if I did.
