With all due respect, Bushie, you're just making excuses with regards to Uber and fast-food work. You know you need income - you know that so well that you would have taken that crappy sales job if the forum had not decided to dissuade you from it, because, in your words "I need income".

I see little need to reiterate every counter the forum has already made to your excuses, I simply want you to think about the hole you are trapping yourself in. You literally need to take ANY legitimate job at this point - I don't care if it's legitimate sales, or Uber, or Walmart, or McDonalds, but you need to stop making stupid excuses, realize the very dire situation you're in, and apply to practically everything. Let's face it - you finding a CADD job could take months or years - so don't just apply to one or two things, thinking... "Well, well, I'll do this to get the forum off my back....", as you will be in an extremely bad situation if you don't get a job between now and the end of may, and I don't think you truly realize it. Essentially, just stop making excuses and apply to everything.

--------------

Anyways, I don't think I've seen a mention of what you've eaten today. go.

RFayette, when it comes to Christians, you've got a wide range of attitudes toward trying to convert people. You've got people who rarely try due to laziness or lack of skill (I'm in this category), people that make conversion a core mission of their life, and everything in between.

If you don't want to hear it, either politely ask them to talk about something else, or just mutter "ok" or similar until they get bored and move on.

Why does Bushie always go through these shady recruiters. Can't he just go to target.com and apply for a job?

When you submit your resume to a recruiter, they call you immediately and pump sunshine up your butt. Bushie likes instant gratification. It's why he takes scam jobs that off him the "job" in the middle of the interview.

I thought God was Bushie's recruiter?  Does God need to use the phone?
Bushie needs more recruiters than just god.

So, Bushie, did we get up to 25 minutes of walking today? Or even more?

Well, considering Bushie didn't say otherwise, I'll just assume he avoided walking on Friday the 13th. I hope he at least ate healthy.

Bushie said he would eat out no more than twice each week, during his first week he did so three times. Burger King Burger on Wednesday, Mexican Food on Friday, (possibly Take-Out) Marco's Pizza on Saturday.

Diet Record = Tainted (Even more than it already was)!

Also, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, that's just pathetic in terms of walking. You need to get it up to 30 right now if you want it to mean anything.

Indy, as strange as it may sound.  If that dictator was truly a born again Christian then yes God views him as a success.  God doesn't look at actions to judge whether one enters heaven or not, He judges solely by the heart and whether that heart has accepted His Son's sacrifice as atonement.  No sin is worse than any other sin.  If you think that's a horrible God, then look at it this way, nobody deserves heaven.  We all deserve hell.  He extends His grace freely to anyone who would believe regardless of good or bad deeds.  Even the best thing we could do is a filthy rag in the sight of God, so He extends His grace to cover our sin.  When God looks at Christians, He sees Us through the blood of Jesus, not for what we really are (which is total worthlessness).
You're acting as if God doesn't know the difference between murder and telling a small lie to a parent. That's ridiculous. God puts aside your sins when you ask for forgiveness, but he doesn't forget them entirely, and if you make it your mission in life to be evil, he's going to send you to purgatory or hell, and that's the truth. Heaven is a place of salvation for those who have attempted to earn it by striving to not just believe in god, but also obey the commandments he's laid out in the bible. If you've made little or no attempt, and yes, god can tell whether you strive to obey him or not, you're going to purgatory or hell.

I believe what I believe.  There's no need in criticizing me for it.  What I am telling you is from the Bible.  It's not from the Catholic Church (who's teachings are not always correct).  My views come from the Bible and a lifetime of great men and women of God teaching me.  We cannot earn salvation.  No one can.  Salvation instead is a free gift.  This forum doesn't understand the concept of grace, apparently.  I could never do anything to earn my salvation.  I can only get to heaven through Jesus Christ (John 14:6).  No one can ever hope to earn their salvation.  If they base their attempt to reach God on their own works, then they will be sadly mistaken and disappointed when they leave this earth.  Everyone has to come to salvation through Jesus Christ alone.  Ephesians 2:8-9 says "For it is by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works lest anyone should boast."  This specifically says that we cannot earn our own salvation.  Since we know the Bible is 100% inerrant and infallible, this is the spoken word of God and thus no one can question the validity of any of the content of the 66 books of the Bible.

Anyway, I don't feel like discussing it any further.  You all refuse to see my point of view and instead are intent on bashing me over the head for my beliefs.
So, you're some young earth creationist freak that thinks the world was created in six days and has only existed for 6k years. Good to know.

(For the record, I accept the scientific age of the earth/universe,  and believe the big bang/evolution happened with god's help.)

We have just had our first round of freezing rain outside my apartment.  My car is covered in a thin sheet of ice.  The precip will pick back up in the next few minutes and transition over to mostly snow around midnight and last until daybreak.  Tulsa should be 4-6" of snow on top of a thin tenth of an inch of ice.  That's small potatoes compared to the punishment Boston is enduring, but still 4-6" of snow is pretty significant for NE Oklahoma.  Tomorrow's job search will be conducted from the warmth of my apartment.  All this snow is after 76 degrees early Saturday afternoon.  The soil temperatures are dropping pretty fast and the bridges are already slick and the roads will follow suit very shortly.  The good news is we should see some sunshine tomorrow afternoon and get close to freezing for a high so we might get a little melting before dusk.

What did you have for lunch and dinner today?

I was invited out to lunch by the youth minister and his family at church to Red Robin in Broken Arrow.  So, I had a Bacon Cheeseburger and some fries.  To compensate, I didn't have any supper.

...

RIP DIET.....for the 10th time since you started it.
These are his diet rules, not yours. He said he would eat out no more than twice a week, not that he would never do so.

I don't think he ever actually ate that chili. But in the course of his first 8 days, he ate out unhealthily four times, I think he cooked spaghetti once, and the rest of the time was spent eating eggs, bacon and tomato sandwiches, moldy cheese, and hot dogs.

For his weight, I'll say somewhere between 283-287.

Bushie, why are you so defensive about the Apostle John not authoring the Gospel of John, the letters of John, and Revelation?

Nothing in the Bible says that he is the author. Man says that, and you believe the Bible, not Man. And after all, it's a "tertiary issue" anyway that means very little. So why are you so offended by the idea that virtually every scholar believes the authors are distinct people?

I don't see how they are different people.  All five books were written near the same time as each other in the AD 80's and 90's.  Sorry, but I do not believe these "scholars".  You're right, it is a tertiary issue, but I do not believe the scholars.  You can believe the scholars if you want, and that's not going to affect anything.  I do not believe the scholars, and my belief has about as much impact as your belief, which is zilch.

Why do your opinions carry more weight than field experts?
Because Bushie thinks he's equal to the pope, and is more anti-science than Ted Cruz.

It's been a few days since we had any dinner updates, so I assume the "diet" is RIP.

The diet is not RIP, although it is on a break for the next 72 hours.  I will resume it when I get back to Tulsa Monday evening.

So it's only in effect when you're within the Tulsa city limits?

Obviously

And Irvin Baxter is the legal equivalent of god! Everything Irvin Baxter says is something he was told to say by god!

bushie is very reluctant to tell him family that he wants to lose some weight.

they will likely think he has been brainwashed by moochelle obummer's socialist unamerican war on good country cookin'

Yes, that or they would suspect he had become a homosexual, which is still illegal in Oklahoma I believe.

Gay Marriage is legal there, but only for people who aren't bushie and aren't related to Bushie.
