Since Hillary is not the Forum Darling to begin with, her decision on running or not is completely irrelevant to your premise.

Kirsten Gillibrand (normal).

(I actually kind of wish Clinton would drop out and endorse Gillibrand, who I think would be one of the few Democrats stronger than Clinton in the general. Oh well. Sad)

I remember the days when many thought she wasn't anything except Schumer's nebbish.  Hmmmm.

I wonder if the Prude Brood will seek to ban all Democrats who endorse a man for their party's nomination in an effort to combat misogyny.

Wow, your myopia on this issue is pretty remarkable.

Considering that forum polls have her losing to that crack-pot Rand Paul and she has a positive HP rating... how is she a forum darling?

Why the Hell do Hillary-bashers keep pretending like she's the "forum darling" when every "opinion of..." poll about her puts her approval rating on this forum much lower than it is for America at large?

Hillary is probably the only politican who's hard to have meh feelings about. Those who like her overrate her (or perhaps overcompensate because a lot of the rest of the forum don't really like her - IceSpear basically admitted as much), but in many quarters the hate towards her goes OTT.

This doesn't really apply to the OP since he's new, but I'd imagine for many they're nostalgic for the 07/08 days when Hillary supporters were close to non existent rather than the significant minority they are now.

To be honest, if Gillibrand were to jump in and had a realistic shot of getting the nomination, I'd be tempted to change my endorsement. Same goes if Schweitzer jumps in and has a realistic shot of getting the nomination.

But of course, that would require Hillary deciding not to run, which probably isn't going to happen.

As others have said, I'm not convinced Hillary is a forum darling.  But forum romances are like most other kinds of romance, short-lived.  Whoever wins office is sure to fail to deliver on something they promised, and that's when the attraction usually disappears.  Both life and politics are like that.
