TPP Endorsement

The People's Party endorsement for president has been controversial so far as no TPP candidate is running for president, although three time VP Bacon King is running with Senator bore. Former President and influential party member Averroës Nix started an anybody but labor campaign, calling them "unreformed" in the initial round of voting. Instead, he wrote in Polnut/Cincinnatus.

The campaign for Polnut/Cincinnatus stayed on in full force through the second endorsement vote (after former SoS Potus dropped out), however a very strongly worded denial of a write-in campaign and strong endorsement of Senator bore from the former President has dashed any hope of TPP members for another run from the much-lauded at-large Senator. Polnut/Cincinnatus was leading the endorsement vote as of the time of the denial of the write-in campaign.

As of now, Bore/BK is leading Maxwell/Dallas 7-5 in the tense endorsement contest.

Voting has been extended in the TPP Endorsement Contest, the count is now at 8-6 in favor of Bore. Although voting has been extended it looks as if Bore/BK has this wrapped up. As has been mentioned by influential former President Duke, things will certainly change in the contest if BK drops out as VP as has been thought of as a strong possibility after the Senator's current run-in with Senator Windjammer. In this case, another reballot may be necessary.

In The People's Region of the Pacific, the People seemed to have decided upon electing Gully/Türkisblau/Intell after a stall in voting after Councilor Gully's vote was cast. Things have been shaken up through the last two ballots, however, which have put Spamage ahead of Intell.

At this point, the results of the election are Gully Foyle/Türkisblau/Spamage.

We have some calls to make today.

In the Pacific Council Elections, the makeup of the 15th Council Session will be Gully (TD-CA)/Türkisblau (TPP-NM)/Intell (TPP-CA).

The Federalist Party Convention has all but endorsed the ticket of Maxwell/Dallas; the results so far being 1-6 against JCL/Devin, the one vote for their ticket coming from Devin.

Early turnout is good for Gass (who I think is favored and has been by virtue of being rather competent and his party label), but this will be an interesting one to follow.
