At least when he began to fall apart, he left the forum. Most other people prefer to stumble on with a captive audience until they finally break.

The Gallery wouldn't be nearly as good if there wasn't the Silver Mine to channel in this kind of posts. I'm rather proud of having created it.

I enjoyed him for a long time, but I'm pretty mad about the loss of one of the FC's treasures so I'm very conflicted. I just don't get why you'd come back and do that.

I understand its purpose as a filter but it's one of those threads that no-one has ever got any reason to bother reading. I'd prefer if we just en masse said "Piss off Oldiesfreak" when someone posted meaningless rhetoric in the GPG.

Scott is a wonderful person who is being unnecessarily targeted because posters here like to make mountains out of molehills. Everything will be okay, friends. Just calm down.

I don't really care either way what happened to those threads.  I rarely even read them.  It was just an odd, kinda spiteful thing to do.
