Similar to what I did with NASA, I want to focus healthcare funding so we go after the right goals in development of fighting awful diseases like cancer and the like. I'm not a healthcare expert, admittedly, so this is something I want to read up more on in terms of amending this bill and making it something serious.

I encourage my fellow legislators who have more knowledge on the subject matter of healthcare R&D to chime in.

Does anyone know much about research? I know I don't. It was hard enough working with others to reform healthcare at the federal level. Tongue

A focus on patients to a focus on prize funding? I'm not entirely sure that's a good idea, but I'll wait until you make your argument to judge it.
