Kal will presumably knock you down to 7th place in the very near future.  But to drop out of the top 10 completely....even if you stopped posting completely right now, it would probably take about a year for enough people to catch up to you.  Of course, you can always delete some of your old posts to speed up the process.

Since Antonio’s taking a break now, jfern has managed to catch back up to him and re-take 11th place:

1) BRTD 76,462
2) Al 59,980
3) Lewis 58,715
4) Keystone Phil 52,861
5) opebo 47,160
6) Eraserhead 41,378
7) Kalwejt 41,270
8 ) Lief 39,493
9) Xahar 39,192
10) Tender Branson 39,133

11) jfern 38,023
12) Antonio 38,022

Looks like Al will soon reach 60,000, while Tender will soon be catching Xahar for 9th place.

5) opebo 47,159
6) Eraserhead 41,408
7) Kalwejt 41,278
8 ) Lief 39,516

Although Lewis pretty much doesn't post anymore, I imagine it will take lots, lots of time before he's being knocked off the list.

3) Lewis 58,715
4) Keystone Phil 52,861
5) opebo 47,159
6) Kalwejt 41,414
7) Eraserhead 41,413
8 ) Lief 39,522

Tender passes Xahar to claim 9th place:

1) BRTD 76,543
2) Al 60,055
3) Lewis 58,715
4) Keystone Phil 52,861
5) opebo 47,159
6) Kalwejt 41,455
7) Eraserhead 41,415
8 ) Lief 39,526
9) Tender Branson 39,193
10) Xahar 39,192

Since Xahar hardly ever posts anymore, his days in the top 10 are numbered.  Jfern will most likely claim his spot at #10 within about 3 months or so.

Haven't had an update to this in a month - order hasn't changed, but some numbers have.

1) BRTD 76,868 (+325)
2) Al 60,210 (+155)
3) Lewis 58,715 (nc)
4) Phil 52,860 (-1)
5) opebo 47,159 (nc)
6) Kalwejt 42,698 (+1,243)
7) Eraserhead 41,666 (+251)
Cool Lief 39,624 (+98)
9) Tender Branson 39,580 (+387)
10) Xahar 39,202 (+10)

In comparison to newer members, since May 10:

cxsmith has had 1,277
IceSpear has had 1,724
I have had 1,011
TNVolunteer has had 987

Jfern needs only 657 posts to make it, which for him should take 75 days.

Tender has passed Lief to take 8th place:

1) BRTD 76,948
2) Al 60,297
3) Lewis 58,715
4) Keystone Phil 52,860
5) opebo 47,159
6) Kalwejt 42,860
7) Eraserhead 41,682
8 ) Tender Branson 39,651
9) Lief 39,636
10) Xahar 39,210

Again, Xahar’s days in the top 10 are numbered, since he doesn’t post much anymore.  The only question is whether Jfern will be the one to catch up to him first, or if it’ll be Antonio, now that Antonio’s back to posting frequently.

In other news, Donald Trump is good for business.  June was the fifth month in a row that the forum has had more than 45,000 posts.  We’d actually never gone more than three months in a row above 45,000 until this year.

Hey, you're still going to be on this list for (probably) at least the next couple of years.  The only people outside the top 10 who are posting fast enough to crack the top 10 any time soon are Jfern and Antonio, and they'll take out Xahar and (eventually) Lief.  But your position in the top 10 is secure for a while.

Well, I guess it's time for another extended leave. Maybe three months this time instead of previous two?

You can't control yourself enough to simply make fewer posts?  It's either 30 posts a day or 0 posts a day for you?  Tongue

It's the same for me. If I'm checking out the forum I'm going to post at full rate. Taking a full break is the only way I can limit myself.

Same here...I made 0 posts for a few months back in summer/fall. I did take a while to transition back (there were points I was only making a couple posts a week), but now I'm back to spamming as much as before.

Antonio surpasses jfern for 11th place:

1) BRTD 77,202
2) Al 60,371
3) Lewis 58,706
4) Keystone Phil 52,857
5) opebo 47,159
6) Kalwejt 43,223
7) Eraserhead 41,734
8 ) Tender Branson 39,821
9) Lief 39,674
10) Xahar 39,221

11) Antonio 38,670
12) jfern 38,669

Antonio’s made 666 posts in the past ~four weeks since he’s returned from his most recent break.  Since Xahar barely posts at all anymore, that puts Antonio on track to crack the top 10 within the next month…if he keeps up his current pace.

I see I passed Hash for 18th not long ago and unless J.J.'s brief bit of activity on the 5th signals he might come out to play again on the Forum I should pass him for 17th in a month or two. But that'll likely be a high water mark for me. By the time I reach any other slowly drifting down somnulent posters a more active poster will likely pass me.

Monday was the most active day on the forum (in terms of number of posts made) since Ides of March Tuesday (the primaries on March 15th).  I guess DNC chaos brings out the best/worst in people?

Trump continues to be a ratings boon for the forum.  July was the third month this year with over 50,000 across the forum.  The only months in which that happened pre-2016 were October 2008 and October 2012.

In other news, Californiadreaming has made over 400 posts in just the last six days.  If he kept that up indefinitely, he'd be in the top 10 in less than two years.
