I had 40,181 posts yesterday, and when I woke up I had only around 40,170 or so. What happened?

Buffalo Bill is rising fast at a daily average post rate of roughly 58% 62.3 posts/day! He is riding a wave of often meaningless and/or ambiguous garbage posts right to the top!

This is an exciting time to be alive.


edit: changed 57 to 58 posts a day as it literally went up a 1 between the time I started this post and the time I finished

edit 2: changed 58 to 62.3 as in the span of 1~ hour he climbed another 4.3 posts/avg. I'm not even going to bother updating again. He's on fire!

I don't know, but since the point system went by the boards, I don't recall any subsequent complaints.  Now that I can't get knicked for 5 points for being inappropriate, it's a good place again.

Well the point system went away so you won't get any.  I probably had 20,000 before it took effect.  Very few deletions (43), for my post count and most I knew would be removed.

Well the point system went away so you won't get any.  I probably had 20,000 before it took effect.  Very few deletions (43), for my post count and most I knew would be removed.

It's still there, sort of. Unless you are a commercial spammer or a sock, you only get 1 point per infracted post. Your posts would end up getting discussed in the mod cave well before there would be any possibility of you racking up enuf points for even a software generated warning, let alone a point-imposed period of being on mod review or being muted.
