If 41 died, would Jeb gain votes?

Not to be morbid about this or anything, but if it's Jeb v.s. Hillary, could Jeb get a significant bump if Bush 41 dies close enough to election day? I don't mean to be insensitive but there's a legitimate chance of that happening and it could have some effect.

That raises an interesting point. If Bill died for whatever reason Hillary would get a boost no doubt (This is awful to think about) but how much of a boost? Would it be enough to flip states? I'd imagine it would be bigger than anything Bush Sr. dying could provide for Jeb.

Typical Democrats; overestimating the appeal that Bill Clinton's appeal as his dying would benefit Hillary! ...Please give me a break; it would definitely boost Republican turn-out...We definitely be happy and as a result be energized, so any advantage Hillary would enjoy would be fleeting; however if 41 died, there would be an even larger boost in support for Jeb. Not because of the event itself,  because of how classy the Bush's would be regarded. If Obama died, wouldn't make a helluva difference

No, it wouldn't get him any more votes.  The Reagan Funeral was the finest of them all, but by the Fall, Kerry had all but closed the gap with Dubya.  As soon as it fizzled, the Bin Laden tape came out, and we know what happened at the end.

But the Reagan funeral was 1/1000000th and 41 was not nearly as great as his predecessor. But, it just will excite the GOP base, to come out more.
