Providing that Puerto Rico holds its primaries on Super Tuesday and providing that the GOP field is still crowded on that day, which Republican will stand the best chance of winning Puerto Rico?

How come there is no move to make Puerto Rico and for that manner the U.S. Virgin Islands? It occurs to me if they participate in the nominating process, why not the electoral process. Any ideas?

I think that's because Puerto Rico is not a US state.
Their participation in the primary process is just a little, petty present pressed upon them.

Why do they participate in the process at all? There not a state or pay taxes to the government. If they became a state than of course that changes everything, until than they shouldn't have any say.

Become a state start paying taxes like us all than join the party, JMO Smiley

There are Democrats and Republicans in Puerto Rico, who pay membership fees; they at least wanna have some say.

I donate to specific candidates from time to time, and if I wanted to I could donate directly to the state or national Democratic Party, but American political parties don't actually have membership dues.

Are American political parties solely financed by donations? Shocked
