Here we are again, another general election. Crushing whatever opposition was in the way during the primaries, President Howard Metzenbaum accepted the DA nomination for a full term and went bold with his pick of Senator Bill Bradley, a former basketball star and a young rising star in the party, as his running mate. The AU has been more open to political dynasties as of late, having chosen Barry Goldwater Jr. to lead the party just four years after his father's unsuccessful comeback bid. Goldwater would choose Delaware Governor Pete du Pont, another staunch conservative, to join him on the ticket. Then we have Lyndon LaRouche once again, now effectively in control of a dying party. LaRouche's running mate is fellow radical Angela Davis.

Who will lead the nation for the next four years? Two days.

Metzenbaum. He was just the best, and far outshines the other two.

Metzenbaum sounds like a decent president, and Goldwater or heaven forbid, LaRouche are terrifying.

Forgot to say it earlier, but Metzenbaum has won a full term. I hope to have 1988 up by sometime in the weekend.
