Pretty obvious stuff. Obama loves countries like Denmark and would love the US to be more like them.

Most sane people would love the US to be more like Denmark.

And the average American would gain a lot more from that than through whether the President loves America or not.

I mean this is a pretty common belief among the conservative electorate to begin with. Rudy's just saying what the Republican base thinks.

Great. Let's have America be more like the country that Germany invaded in two months.

I've said it before, he's not the head of the U.N. He's the President of the United States. Where's his thoughts on American exceptionalism? Where's his Teddy Roosevelt, Truman, Reagan moments?

He always gives inspirational speeches about how great America and Americans are. You just aren't listening.

That a stupid comparison, c'mon. The idea is we should be more like them socio-economically.

Also Denmark's social system had nothing to do with them being defeated by Germany in a day.

Well, Obama does believe in American Exceptionalism.  He does think it's America's job to be the world's policeman.  Rudy Giuliani just thinks he isn't doing it enough.  If I had lived in New York and had been old enough to have an opportunity to vote for him, I would make sure I voted for someone else every time.

What both Rudy Giuliani and Obama both hate are the principles of liberty that thousands of Americans risked their lives for when our country was founded.

I guess we in America have always been a little more into economic liberty and a little bit skeptical of taking money from successful people to raise up unsuccessful people as a way to improve society.  As the board's token liked Republican Teddy Roosevelt said, "The first requisite of a good citizen in this republic of ours is that he shall be able and willing to pull his own weight."

At least Democratic voters are open about wanting a socialist economy.  I respect that.  If only the politicians had those kinda of guts.

Meanwhile, Republicans are working to make the US become like Putin's Russia. Isn't that ironic?

There is no "socialist economy" in Denmark.

Fine, combination of a capitalist economy (needed to survive) and a welfare state.  They're well on their way.
