Temperate and overcast/foggy all the time, and not likely to exceed 90F in the Summer.

I.. I just don't understand you. Tongue

Me neither.

Is there an association with left-wing economics and preferring crappy weather or something?  This forum seems to have some strange affinity for cold climates.

I presume it's some form of stockholm syndrome.

My views mirror Goldwater here, who once again has identical and sane views on climate.

I don't dislike forests, but I defintely share the sentiment of preferring more rocky/desert environments; some of my best memories involved hiking through the deserts/up some mesas.

I loathe deserts and grasslands with a cold cold passion. Be it near stranded times in the Arizona highlands, sweating bad in Moab while hiking Arches.

Whereas Redwoods, Live Oaks, and the adventures in the Appalachians and Sierras both have given me a great love for forests

ANd in the end, fog does the least harm.

He who wishes for a climate of sunburns, dehydration, and chapped lips is not one who wishes for a sane climate.

Bodega is a sane summer climate, Rockbridge Virginia is the perfect winter climate.

Somewhere in between options 1 and 2.

Ah yes, because all three of those things are unique to warm weather. Roll Eyes

Especially the chapped lips part. Cold air seems to be the thing that makes my skin the most dry.
