Nashville is a hole, but the rest of the state is A-ok.

Overall, not a bad state. I have more likes than dislikes about it, it appears, so FS.

Pros
*Voted for Hillary both times in the primaries
*I was raised on country music, so I have a lot of affinity for Nashville
*Have had some great times in Memphis at a club there called Backstreet
*Beale Street
*Memphis BBQ, Memphis in May
*Has a town called Frog Jump (but con also because that's the home of @$$hat Stephen Fincher)
*Has a mini Eiffel Tower in the northwestern town of Paris
*The Blind Side/the Tuohys/Michael Oher, one of my favorite movies
*Taylor Swift Smiley

Cons
*It's the birthplace of the KKK in Pulaski
*Too many "Jesus" Republicans
*Full of horrible politicians who tried to make the Bible the official state book
*Gave us Marsha Blackburn and Scott DesJarlais

You do realize that the original KKK was very different from the 20th century revivals, right?

Massive Freedom State.

Eastern Tennessee is beautiful.

Cades Cove in Eastern Tennessee.

I've only been to Knoxville and parts of Sevier County in this part of the state, but I plan on eventually going to visit places like Cades Cove.

I also want to visit Nashville.
