Without a Mormon on the presumptive ballot - unlike the last two primaries -, Utah is a tough call this time.
Furthermore, while Utah was the last State to vote three years ago, it is reported to vote before Super Tuesday next year.

It's hard to say because it is very different from every other western state, but I still think that makes Paul start off as the favorite with no one else particularly favored to do so since he could be generating a lot of buzz next door in Nevada from the national media at the same time (under the assumption it remains early, which it won't). Santorum or Perry could do slightly better than elsewhere since they are decent fits, but they are irrelevant candidates - probably still not near double digits. I think I have to stick with Paul though Walker/Bush wouldn't shock me. Heck, even Huckabee wouldn't, but I don't think they'll go for a southerner who is Romney's rival.

Huntsman's endorsement could actually mean something with the lack of an obvious fit (unless he goes with Christie - I don't see Utah buzzing oveer him).

It's not until June. It will be whoever the nominee is (I assume Walker).

I think Utah would like Walker, as he's got a bland, non-threatening personality. Utahns don't like aggressive and "loud" candidates.

Though as Monarch pointed out, they'll support whoever the nominee is.

But Mr. Morden reported the Utah primary would take place on Super Tuesday...

The date of the Utah primary is thoroughly unsettled.

Walker or Cruz. Probably Walker since Cruz is more likely to drop out before ST or shortly thereafter.

If it's in June, the nominee.

Otherwise probably Walker or Bush.
