They broke up after one album and from the poll results it seems like I'm the abnormal one in both remembering and liking them; for a band that's practically the same thing.

I don't vote because I know nothing about the band.

As for the Romanov dynasties.

The first Romanov dynasty had some terrible rules, but also several great ones, including the one (Peter I) who transformed Russia into a early modern European country, and also ended the Swedish Empire reign of terror (and yes the Swedish Empire was pretty horrible for its neighbours, even by the standards of 17th century Europe). So FF.

The second Romanov dynasty, the Gottorps, on the other hand only delivered one or two rulers, who wasn't horrible horrible people. It was a unpleasant dynasty even for its time. It was still preferable to the communists, and Russia and its people would have better off, if it had kept the Empire rather than becoming USSR. But the communists wouldn't have been able to gain powers if not for the stupidity of the Romanovs. So HP.

Not a bad band.  Have some nice music.

A horrible, horrible, horrible dynasty.  Arrogant, corrupt, a smoking, rotting, stinking carcass.

Lived in obscene luxury while most Russians didn't have enough to eat. 

Even up to the 1900's, the dynasty was living as though they were ruling by divine right.  Made a few token concessions, sure, but only after intense pressure.

This dynasty should have been overthrown long before it was.  Certainly the Czar and his cronies deserved execution.
