Opinion of this Enfant Terrible/Postmodern genius/misanthropic bore?

And no those are not contradictory poll options.

Anyway I've only read three of his novels, of which I only really liked one: The Drowned World which I thought was absolutely brilliant. On the other hand Crash was practically unreadable (how I finished I do not know) and High Rise was just 'meh'.

Anyone else familiar with his work?
