In regards to the bill, it seems limited to have it at $14 if that's the federal level. We need a $15 minimum to give working families a chance to prosper in the Northeast. A higher, fairer minimum wage will give the the region a much needed boost

If we want to increase it to $15, we should wait until the Senate finishes with their current minimum wage bill. If it gets adopted, which seems likely, our bill will quickly become redundant.

Haha the senate will be debating that bill for another month

I'd be happy to wait until they've dealt with that, as there's no point in passing something that's could be redundant by the time it goes into affect.

Do you wish to table the legislation then?

I'm willing for this to be put on hold until the senate finishing with their bill, but once (if) they've passed that. Then we could discuss this bill again - should we feel that the minimum wage should be higher than they're proposing.
