North Dakota gave us perhaps the most left wing government in the history of the US - led by the biggest FF's the nation has seen. It has a nationalised bank and grain mill, bans corporate farm land, has no death penalty, has expanded Medicaid all unlike its cousin to the south. Shame that fracking will probably turn it into an uninhabitable wasteland Smiley

We're the better Dakota.  South Dakota has the Black Hills, so we're not as flat and treeless.  North Dakota is still a slightly above average state, though.
