Mostly in MN and OR, who along with NH were the only states where Dems beat an incumbent in a blue (Atlas red) state in 2008. The others include Childers' district, and others in the South which are likely demographics/turnout issues.

All I see are incumbent-propped counties and Southern counties with a lot of African-Americans in them, so it makes relative sense. Carroll went red because the carpetbagging issue rung harder in the North Country than the southern parts of the state. Prentiss, however, was Childers' home county.
