When viewing straight on mine was 100% White and Gold. I did tilt my laptop around and did catch glimmers of a deep blue. Must some perception of shadows...idk

It's always gold and white for me. I don't see the blue and black. I tilted my screen back, and I still saw gold/white only, no blue/black. I went to a room with bad lighting, and I still see only gold/white. I've tried everything, and I still only see gold/white. I don't see where the blue/black is coming from. Can you guys help me?

I squint naturally and had never seen blue and black looking dead on.  However, when I squinted so that my eyes were barely opened and stared for 30 seconds I was able to make out black and blue.  I never seemed to get those magic eye posters they used to have either without trying very hard either.

Light blue and dark gold, which suggests my screen doesn't have as much contrast as those who see it as black and white.  That people are seeing it differently on different screens is no real surprise.  Even in real life actual objects appear different in different light conditions.  My girlfriend has this brown sweater that looks purple in low light conditions.  It's not at all unusual for things to look different under fluorescent and incandescent lights, let alone sunlight.
