someone once described Zizek as "the stand-up comedian of the left", adding "I never said stand-up comedy was a bad thing".

Chomsky is 86 years old now, 25 or 30 years older than Zizek.  of course he lacks Zizek's vitality.  the young Chomsky was much more vibrant, though less of a play-actor (but who isn't?)
