Excellent news!

After Reid's machine gives these clowns a good thrashing and Democrats gain more seats, Nevada's champion will be back leading the Senate where he belongs.

If Reid can't even lead Laxalt in polls, he's looking quite dead.

If he's only trailing by that now, than I'm pretty sure he'll win next year.

He was trailing Angle by 6 and came around to defeat her by about that margin.

It's Gravis. The race could be anywhere. I find it interesting that they didn't test Roberson, who seems like the likeliest nominee, but Roberson's name recognition is probably pretty poor right now.

I wouldn't be confident about any Republican against Reid, unless it was Sandoval.

Neither of them are running... or at least this time, in Laxalt's case.

It would be awesome if Laxalt entered the Senate by defeating the same man that his grandfather did.

It's Gravis, so Reid is probably actually slightly ahead at this point, if Gravis' usual accuracy holds true.

I never trust polling in Nevada. Especially if it's Gravis.

It's dangerous to assume previous polling bias in future polling bias.

yes I too fully expect Reid to vanquish whichever dinosaur robot the GOP nominates.

That said I would like to see some quality polling here. Hopefully Vox Populi goes into the field soon.

Yes, please nominate Adam Laxalt, Republicans. Reid looked dead in 2010 as well...

If Reid can't even lead Laxalt in polls, he's looking quite dead.

But, but...

As I've noted elsewhere, the reid turnout machine doesn't exist. Reid is unpopular and will run behind Hillary in Nevada, no question about it. He just has to hope that Hillary wins NV by enough to carry him over the finish line. Here's some rough early estimates.

Reid:
vs. Angle - Reid runs ~1 point behind Hillary (ex. If Hillary gets 55%, Reid will get about 54%).
vs. Row Officer - Reid runs ~3 points behind Hillary.
vs. Beers/Roberson - Reid runs ~5 points behind Hillary.
vs. Krolicki/Hutchinson - Reid runs ~7 points behind Hillary.
vs. Sandoval - Reid runs AT LEAST 11 points behind Hillary.

Ralston asked Gravis why they chose Krolicki and Laxalt, they said it was just a guess. Ralston reiterated that he doesn't think a Laxalt run is that far-fetched, and that the crosstabs seem mostly solid.

Bad news for Leader Reid. Path to majority control goes through OH, with Strickland in race. Wouldnt be shocked if Dems won anyway without him and CRONIBUS, NH, IL, WI, CO,OH, and Pa. Net four seats without Reid, who is in worst shape than Bennett.

Schumer will become leader, hopefully majority leader and progressives will have one of their own in there.

Moderation havent done Dems any good, since the GOP shut down the govt anyway. CRONIBUS, Reid passed was useless.

That's why Dems are mad at Reid.

Sharon Angle might end up being the Ken Buck of this cycle.

ITT: GOP hacks trumpet a poll from "independent" firm that's well-known for being a Republican stooge as legit.
