I miss the Inks of long ago, but not the Inks of just before his departure.  He'd gotten too obsessed about rooting out socks, and coming from me, that's saying something.

The king is dead, long live the kings.  I think that unlike some here, he sincerely wanted to help you change your bad habits, and unlike most here, he sincerely believed you could be helped via the forum.  I think that's why he posted so much in the Update.  It was a case of each of you reinforcing the self-delusions of the other.
