Think about it. After three fairly traumatic Presidencies in a row, a dullard like Walker may be just what the nation is looking for. Uncharismatic, but still capable of providing some coherent agenda. Were Hillary to stay out (or, rather, HAD she stayed out), O'Malley might fit that mould too.

You've been reading the news lately, right? Walker is bizarre and has an anti-Union fetish, thinking it's relevant to foreign policy and protesters are like ISIS.

If he proves to be dull, he likely won't win the Republican nomination. I think a Walker campaign would be anything but dull.

I don't think it'll be a major issue given the competition.

That said, problems with the performative aspects could accentuate other shortcomings. A dull professorial type could be competent. A charistmatic guy could obscure intellectual shortcomings (see W.) Someone who isn't too bright and isn't very exciting is a lunkhead.
