Democrats and Democratic-leaning Independents, who is your choice for President, assuming they were to run (I added Elizabeth Warren just for giggles, and to test the waters so to say) and why would you vote for them?

As someone who votes, in national elections, largely based upon foreign policy.  I would vote for Jim Webb, since I agree with his position on American military intervention.  I could not support Hillary in the primary unless she was the only real candidate due to her support for military intervention in Iraq, Libya, and Syria.

That being said, I would support Hillary in the general election against pretty much any Republican candidate.  The only possible exception could be Rand Paul, but it is, at this point, unlikely I would vote for him.

Sanders, he's the closest to a New Deal Democrat we're allowed.

Not a Democrat, but I don't see how anyone could argue that Gillibrand isn't the worst of this group

WOW, shocked to see all the love for Saunders. Warren with a great showing. Hmmm maybe a young gun may jump into the race here on the dems side, seems like peole are starting to see Hillary's weaknesses and realizing shes Ms. Wall Street / Ms. Money bags just like romney was.

It may not be smart to extrapolate from a forum that has like, one woman on it. Tongue
