Just to clarify, I ran myself as a Democrat in this poll because I wanted it to be as realistic as possible (someone like me would have to join the party to be on the ticket).  I reaffirm my Independent status.

This is much more structured than it appears, with two social conservative running mates, and the selection of your typical Democrat and your somewhat moderate Republican.  Please don't regard this as bad simply because I put myself in it.  It's a disservice to the thought I put into this poll.
