What is so horrible about the Polls guy?

Too lazy to put his full screen name up here, but really what gives?  I mean he is not like a revolutionary poster, but at least he does contribute to the forum.  Really, there are at least a dozen of you who deserve the axe more than he.

So please explain.

He deserves zero hate. He is probably a sock considering the moment he starting posting he had an accusatory tone directed at regulars, but his contributions outside of FC are far better than most. The worst I can see is that he's a bit of a pessimist when it comes to D chances.

As the guy who re-bumped the "Let's talk about" thread, I personally had problems with his unnecessarily inflammatory attitude, and instead of fixing his attitude, decides to troll other popular "bad posters" to avoid being lumped in with one of them. I've done some research myself, and he actually seems to be a legitimate poster who isn't underage ban (like Guntaker or probably Murica), so there is hope that he'll change. If he is taking a sabbatical and changes (and by that I mean takes a rip and chills out), I'd welcome him back. Give him a few years and he might not be a bad poster, tbh.

Not every high school poster is going to turn out like SWE or Flo.

So who do we think he's a sock of?  He was trying to get under Bushie's skin in Update almost immediately after registering, so that's why I subscribe to the sock theory.  Although, I'm not going to make a stink if we don't get to keep him.  Socks are at their best when they are hilarious like liftweights34 and the like.

I thought there was something a little bit off about him, I just didn't know what.  I admit I am kind of slow on the take about some posters, given that I don't spend as near amount of time on here as I used to.

IIRC he claimed to be a professor, which is not completely unfathomable given his detailed knowledge about certain subjects, but exceedingly strange in other ways (ex. his repeated insistence that slavery was big in Eastern KY and citing maps that showed the opposite as evidence.)

I noticed your post agreeing with the moderator (and probably the majority of people on the forum) that there was no reason for me to come back.

Based on my posting history, that may seem true. However, I think that posting on this forum does have some benefit to me personally. I've learned a lot of politics and elections while posting here. I agree that none of my posts were really at a high level.

I mostly come here to blow off steam from school, life in general, etc. I've noticed that many of my posts have come close to the line in terms of moderation and banning, so I decided to take a break.

I hope you understand that the way I post is not really the way that I communicate in real life. It's just the worst parts of my personality (I'm sure that's true of some other posters as well).

Anyway, I guess I'll see you if I ever do come back. I noticed that you are a decent poster and I agree with many points you've raised.
