He's a total embarrassment to Kansas. It's hard for me to believe that people sent him and Brownback back to Topeka last year. Kobach is ridiculously racist, xenophobic, and backwards minded. What I worry about are rumors I have heard that Roberts will retire soon and Kobach will step up to the senate.

What can happen as a party is on the way out from domination of a State or a district? The pols get increasingly strident and extreme. People start looking for alternatives and find them in the next election.
