Of course it was a pretty weak field overall (though Brown had been considered a rising star, IIRC).

I'm really tired of that term, "rising star", it doesn't mean anything. Anthony Brown was a rising star, Ed FitzGerald was considered a rising star and the list goes on and on of rising stars who never were bright to begin with.

Looooooooooool, FitzGerald was never considered a rising star.

Well Ed FitzGerald's star wasn't the only thing that was rising during his campaign...

I'll certainly be donating the maximum amount to Donna Edwards.

This would be a really, really tough primary pick for me. I would go with Mizeur, but I'm hoping she runs instead for the MD-8 open House seat. If I had to choose, narrowly Van Hollen.

No. NHH in firewall already. Path to vic. includes wi faingold, il Duckworth +1 woman, pa Sextak, oh w/sensible liberal Strcklan.d, and MIZZ. ultra liberal hagen as a backup in nc and chance bozman go down in ar b/c unpopular hutchinson dynasty.

Van Hollen will be an excellent Ass Dem Leader or Whip II, aside from Durbin, should Reid fail in reelection bid and become head of the Senatorial election Committee after Tester. He will be a fantastic senator.
