The 114th Congress has now complete 2 months of work as a unified Republican majority. What is your favorite accomplishment of this new Congress?

Getting control of both the House and the Senate during the two-term Presidency of one Barack H. Obama (D), and all this just a few years after the unfortunate reign of George II (R). Well done, Republicans. Quite an impressive feat.

I guess I have to chose between something that could damage the environment permanently and an agency that wants to destroy my civil liberties.

I suppose the latter.

What about TRIA? Or allowing amendments in the Senate?

This. And I don't count accomplishments that didn't result in actual laws.

I applaud McConnell for instituting an open amendment process, but it's yet to bring his majority any accomplishments.

The only good thing that has come from this Congress thus far is Jim Inhofe bringing some fresh DC snow onto the floor and then Whitehouse castrating him for it.

I disagree with both, but I'd rather have Keystone and no DHS.

I'd rather have DHS than the Keystone XL pipeline. But this congress really is much more awful than usual.

Keystone, by default, since DHS is a creepy, Orwellian abomination and should be dismantled.

Can we count the letter to Iran as an accomplishment, or does it not qualify because only 47 senators signed it?
