Grant Starrett, a young lawyer who worked for Romney. Hopefully Starrett crushes the odious scumbag of an incumbent.

I thought the fellow who tried to primary Lamar Alexander last year was going to go after DesJarlais? Either way, I hope DesJarlais loses.

Carr? He'd lose to Desjarlais, and he knows that.

Carr was originially running as a third Republican in the TN-04 primary, but switched to TN-Sen.

It was assumed that with Carr out, DesJarlais would be toast in a two-way match with Tracy. We know how that went.

The fact that he won in 2014 is inexcusable. The people in that district should be punished for their stupidity.

I'm talking about the current drawing of TN-4, not the 2002-2010 drawing of it.

Different district and different times. Now most of the Tennessee is so visceraly Republican that Democrats can be elceted from Nashville and Memphis districts  only.
