Consider that you will be voting in a generic British constituency (i.e. no Northern Ireland parties)

I am only listing parties which are listing a reasonable number of candidates:

Labour, Conservative, Lib Dem - If you don't know anything about these parties, you shouldn't be voting in this poll

SNP - Scottish Nationalists. Mostly centre left; Favour Scottish independence.

Plaid Cymru - "The Party of Wales"; Favour Welsh independence; More to the left than the SNP; Arguably socialist.

UKIP - Favour withdrawl from the EU; Semi-populist.

Green - Strong environmentalists; Socially liberal, generally economically to the left.

BNP - Strongly isolationist; Withdraw from NATO, UN and EU; Strongly encouraged repatriation of those whose ancestry is not primarily Anglo-Saxon; Freeze all immigration. Arguably racist.

SSP - As the name says, Socialists. Favour Scottish Independence.  Arguably Leninist.

Veritas - see UKIP, just with a bigger ego.

Repsect - Ba'athist/Shi'ite party acting under the pretence of socialism. Very anti-war.

Lib Dems if they were competative or the seat I was in wasn't, Labour otherwise.

Voted Lib Dem in the poll.

The BNP is economically very left-wing.

I voted Labour

I voted Labour

Even domestically?
I thought that too, actually, I was just looking for confirmation. I know for sure they are very protectionist, but I know virtually nothing about their domestic policies.

The BNP's economic policies are... strange... on the one hand they want the State-Party to take over pretty much everything... but on the other they want to abolish income tax.
Suffice to say that very few people vote for the BNP because of their economic policies...

I would vote for the Tories, or, in Northern Ireland, for the Ulster Unionists.

I can't vote(not old enough), but I would vote Conservative. It doesn't make much of a difference because I'm in one of the safest Tory seats in the country.

Here's my order of preference:

Labour -> Conservative -> UKIP -> Liberal Democrats -> SNP/CP/Green/SSP/Veritas -> BNP/Respect

Yes, I would vote UKIP over Liberal Democrat. I'm hoping the Liberal Democrats do very badly, in truth. Wink

Perhaps you could make another poll for the Northern Irish parties?

God I know. I really think he should have ran once more; when we get thrashed on May 5, we'll need a new leader.

Malcolm Rifkind is a good guy though. I'm glad they're running another moderate here.

Any Labour MP that voted against the War or is seriously challenged by the Tories or is South Asian or is otherwise cool.
Any LD MP unless somebody convinces me they got serious ethical problems. In fact, make that any third party MP in England and Wales.
LD wherever LD's are second to Labour and I don't like the Labour MP.
Protest vote elsewhere wherever there is a suitable alternative.
Labour elsewhere.
Should about cover it I guess. LD in Bethnal Green & Bow.

Grin
Without putting too fine a point on it Dulu is a bit of a joke candidate... if I was cynical I'd suggest he was picked to make sure that the "Lib"Dem local government vote in Bow votes for King.

You could always spoil your ballot Wink
