I really like Edwards but don't know much at all about Van Hollen.

But I hate National Harbor.

Don't support either one. If I had to choose between only these two, though, I'd go with Edwards. Van Hollen is simply too close to Pelosi.

Diversity for the sake of diversity?

I don't usually back people entirely because of that, but Van Hollen and Edwards are ideologically identical. Van Hollen is closer to leadership sure, but it's not like Edwards is a rogue maverick.

So I went with the candidate who'll be more likely to empathize with minority and women's issues. Not saying Van Hollen's a bigot, but he'll never understand those issues as much as Edwards does simply because he's never experienced it.

Well that too, but come on, Dana Rohrbacher is a terrible person and he's one of my favorite congressmen.
