49er rookie Chris Borland retiring due to health concerns.

[long string of expletives] Our season is over before it even began.

While he's probably not responsible for Borland's retirement, Jed York and Trent Baalke have single-handedly taken a team that is two years separated from playing in a Super Bowl and turned them into a team that will easily land a top 5 draft pick in 2016. It's disgusting.

I have a feeling the 2015 San Francisco defense will resemble the 2013 Dallas Cowboys defense.  That is, virtually non-existent.

I mean, our leading tackler last year and our most consistent tackler of the past decade both just retired, so you'd be right to feel that way.

If the 49ers need to rebuild their defense, they could sign that gay fellow from Dancing with the Stars.

Seriously.

Its been proven that if he hadn't come out as gay he wouldn't have been drafted.

If they really want to rebuild they defense it needs to be through the draft. All of this though is epic karma for the big douche they have at QB.

Are you kidding? He was a third to fourth round prospect before he came out. It was the combine, along with being gay, that dropped his draft stock.

Steelers have resigned James Harrison for two years. I mean, really? Must be awful thin at his position. Up-and-comer Jason Worilds retired to pursue a religious education. Oh, boy. Gonna need to score 40 points a game, they are, like last year, the way it looks.

The 49ers have effectively dismantled themselves - way to go, they just moved into a new stadium. Of course there are two very, very clueless people making decisions there (Jed York and his yes man). Kind of feel badly for that fan-base.

Try being a Dallas Cowboy fan from 1996-2013...
