Argentina
Belgium
Czech Republic (though I might have gone Colombia or Costa Rica in hindsight)
Denmark
Ethiopia
France
Greece
Hungary
Italy
missed J (would have voted Jamaica)
Kenya
Lebanon
Mexico
New Zealand
Poland!
missed R as well (not sure how I would have voted, honestly)
Sweden
Tunisia
USA
Vietnam
Zambia (which I presume will win)

Got better at following the crowd as I went along.  Noteworthy runners-up include Brazil, Iceland, India, and Finland.  The competition for I was brutal.

There is a surprisingly high number of Zimbabwe votes given that there really isn't any reasons for voting Zimbabwe (unless you just love anti-Western dictators). Nature, culture, tolerance, human rights, economy, living standard, even education and health care. Zambia beats it southern neighbour on every parameter.

Zambia is a Chinese economic satellite which turns a blind eye to quasi-slave labor conditions, FWIW.

I'm sure the great workers of Zimbabwe Rhodesia enjoy far better conditions.

1) That is hyperbole.

2) Zimbabwe is a Chinese client politically as well as economically, so even if the above was true it would not change the balance.

3) Labour conditions are generally harsher in Zimbabwe and the Army runs actual slave labour operations in the diamond fields.

Zambia, because they do not charge $5 for every scream during childbirth.

By the way, the right-hand side of the Zimbabwean Broadcasting Company website opens each day by posting a quote from Mugabe. Today's quotation is about how he's not leaving power, and includes the line "I know our history more than you do."

Zambia is one of the better countries in Africa. Not a nightmare, unless you think all poor countries are nightmares.
