It was always the first result on google for "grocery store opening April 1 in Tulsa" so it was never much of a secret.

That's part of the reason I gave up on the secrecy.  That and I had not one, but two mind lapses.

Ha.  It will not be mentioned here anymore.  I haven't heard a peep from him in a long time and that Facebook page has been taken down.

my guess is bushie is going out with a bang.  the few remaining days of his latest unemployment will be spent pigging out and watching tv for 16 hours at a time.

I just hope he manages to hit the big three double zero before he starts working. An accomplishment like that would give him a real moral boost on that first day.

I won't be doing that, actually.  Tomorrow, I am going to spend one last morning with my cousin and his new fiancée and then have a final family lunch at 1300 before my cousin and his fiancée head to the airport for their 1900 departure for Las Vegas and before I head back to Tulsa at 1400 or 1415.  I should be home no later than 1600.  Tomorrow evening, I am going to watch the Selection Sunday special on CBS and ESPN/ESPN2, but I will need to go to bed by 2200 so I can be up by 0530 Monday morning.  I have to leave my apartment by 0715 Monday so I can be ready to fill out my new hire paperwork at 0800.  Monday afternoon, I need to make a Walmart run to get a few groceries for the week.  I will probably indulge in some NBA Basketball Monday night and then get ready for work on Tuesday.  To make a long story short, I won't have time to pig out and watch 16 straight hours of TV.

I will do a weigh-in probably Tuesday morning, but I can tell you I am probably a long way from that horrid number.

Showtime is 2 days 21 hours away, so we'll see how long I last.

Why not make an Asian Market or [redacted] run instead of a Walmart run?

I will probably do some shopping at my place of employment.  I'm still going to keep going to Walmart, though, too.

Sometime during Week 2 of employment, probably the last full week of March, I will be getting an employee discount card worth 15% off retail price for everything in the store.  I would be a fool not to take advantage of it.  I don't know if it will supply all of my groceries, but it will supply some of my groceries.  I will still go to Walmart for most things, but I can go shopping right after I clock out and take some groceries home.

One thing before I go to bed:
it is Sunday, March 15, 2015:

Work night 1 is TONIGHT
Work Day 1 is tomorrow morning (Monday)
Work Night 2 is tomorrow night
First Day of training is the day after tomorrow!

It's getting real in a hurry!

The store I will work at doesn't open until April 1.

I continue to find Bushie's refusal to visit the Asian market right next to his apartment perplexing AND concerning.

Bushie will be working at a Whole Foods competitor. My guess is that he winds up buying exactly $0.00 worth of groceries at work a week. Which is probably for the best, it's an pretty expensive store.

From what I've heard from everyday shoppers at [redacted], their prices are more like Walmart.  So, more like a low-priced whole foods store.  Now, whether that's completely accurate, I don't know, but I'll take their word for it since they shop at [redacted] frequently and regularly.

I don't plan to call in for quite a long time.  I've been managing my headaches pretty well over the past few weeks.  They haven't been all that bad.  I've had a couple of bad headaches, but I wasn't down for the count.  I can manage them a lot better than I used to.  So, I'm confident I won't need to call in.
