As was stated before $10 an hour is not enough to cover all my expenses no matter how frugal I am.

You're hanging onto the super-duper Cox cable package though, right?

Even reducing that won't bring me into a surplus.

So I guess there's no point reducing it at all then.  Makes perfect sense.

You gotta waste money to make money.

Good Thursday Morning!  I slept well overnight, but I discovered that I think I am fully into air conditioner season now.  I flipped my heater on last night, but got too hot even with the fan on, so I flipped the air conditioner back on at 0545 this morning and I felt much better almost immediately.  I've got a feeling I won't be using my heater again until late this fall.  Anyway, today, I'm starting my last full day off until I go back to work tomorrow evening.  I don't have much to do this morning until I watch the 2015 NCAA Basketball Tournament.  I do need to clean my apartment today while I watch the games.  I'll be going to bed by 2200 tonight so I can be up at 0445 tomorrow to drive to Shawnee.

At what temperature do you turn on the air conditioner?  IIRC, don't you turn it on when it's barely 70 degrees?  Maybe you could just get by with a fan for a while, and save money?

It's supposed to be in the 50s all day in Tulsa. What temperature do you set your A/C to?

It's not on right now, but usually between 70-72.

Yeah, I just looked on weather.com, and it says high of 61 in Tulsa today.  Why on Earth would you have needed AC this morning?  There's no law that says that you always need either heating or AC on.

The heater is on now to bring it to 70-72. When it hits 73 degrees, ODF turns on the AC. If he does not do this, he will get a Grade 12 headache.

Why the f*** would you put the ac on when its in the 50's??

Why the f*** would you have both the heat and fan on at the same time?

The first question is legitimate.

The second question - I cannot sleep without the fan on no matter if the a/c or heater is on and no matter if it is 75 at night or 5 at night.  The fan keeps the air circulating and prevents the room from getting too stuffy.

Eh, fans use very little electricity. The real problem is the heater and the AC.

Changing the subject, but I'm not nearly as sore today as I was yesterday.  I haven't taken any pain relievers of any kind since the Aleve after I got home Tuesday night.  My body will be ready for Day 2 tomorrow evening.  Tomorrow morning, though, I've got to wake up at 0445 so I can leave between 0545-0600 to drive down to Shawnee (nearly a 2 hour drive) for my semi-annual blood work at 0800.  I should be out of the doctor by 0815 and then I will get something for breakfast and then go by the Indian Tag Agency and renew my car tag for another year.  I should be turned around and headed back to Tulsa by 0930 and get home by 1130.  When I get home, I will take a nap until 1415 and then start the same pre-work routine I followed Tuesday night starting at 1445.

Sure do.  They're usually a third to half the price of a typical state issued plate and are just as valid and legal.

Shouldn't you only be eligible to be issued 1/32 of a plate?

Trying to picture what that would look like on the back of the car.  Lol

I turned it on because I am very hot natured.  I get hot very easy and don't cool down easy at all.  It's a by-product of carrying all this weight - I have a lot of "insulation".  I can sweat when it's well below freezing.  I do get cold, but for every one time I get cold, I get hot 10 more times.

Update XXIII: Getting Hot 10 more times

Update XXIII: I am very hot natured

On second thought, both these titles would be more appropriate for Update XXX.

Here's a quick debt update:  Over a two week period between Wednesday, March 11 and Wednesday, March 25, 2015, the bill I am working on trying to pay off will have dropped by nearly $1,100.  That is $90 for monthly payment, $200 as a gift from Mom, and $800 from my federal income tax refund.  I hit a major windfall with my taxes by getting over $1,000 back total.  I kept a couple hundred back in my checking and put $800 on that bill.  That's a major shot in the arm after my debt payoff was really hampered when I lost my job in January.
