Well, that's a good idea too.  I was focusing more on finding a way for Bushie to eat veggies, which seems like a Herculean task.

Also, is anybody really angry at Bushie when we tell him to eat a salad instead of nachos? I think the anger and lashing is a projection of ODF's feeling when he reads he cannot eat ground beef as a diet.

I really wish Bushie would change his mind about stuff.

Here's a wishlist I have for Bushie:

1) 30 minutes of exercise a day
2) Daily pushups/situps/crunches (only 10/25/10 would at least do something)
3) Drink diet soda only
4) Have a daily multivitamin
5) Drink V8 V-Fusion or something to at least get some fruits/veggies in him
6) Cut bread intake

I think you are greatly overestimating both Jeff's abilities and the benefits of these types of activities at this point. Maybe he can think about these types of exercises after he's shed 100 pounds. Until then, cardio and basic movements ought to be his focus. God Himself couldn't get Jeff to do 10 push-ups or 25 sit-ups at this point.

But 10 pushups/25 situps/10 crunches a day is absolutely nothing.  You can do that in 1 commercial break. 

He is a fat out of shape mess with no discipline or dedication.   I highly doubt he could do any pushups, but even if he could somehow physically manage he would even attempt any because of pure laziness.

Good start. Get berries too. And melons.

Just eat fresh fruits. Not juice, either. You don't need the sugar so much as the vitamins and fiber, which only happens in fruit.

Vegetables would be better for weight loss calorie wise, but weight loss is a pipe dream with you. Fruit as a treat with every meal would get you out of anemia and help lower your cholesterol.

I have been downgraded to a Severe Thunderstorm Warning that is in effect until 8:15 pm.  I have had two storms come within 2 miles of me either side.  I still have power and my car is still in good shape, so I won't have problems going to work in the morning.  The cold front has come through and it is dropping our temperatures and pushing our severe threat to the south.  Unfortunately, there has been one fatality in a trailer park in Sand Springs, a west suburb of Tulsa.

I feel comfortable enough with the weather slowly calming down that I'm going to go to bed between 8:15 and 8:30 pm.  I have to be up by 3:00 am for work, so I do need to wind down shortly.  The storms should all push south of us in the next couple of hours and the rain should even move out by midnight or so.  As I said earlier, my car is in good shape, so unless the roadway is blocked or the store is damaged, I'm going to work.
