This actually seems like a good time for Bushie to move to Kenya.  At least the cost of living there is lower, so he would be accumulating debt at a slower pace.

I don't know that right now is the best time to move to Kenya, MM, for pretty obvious reasons...

I am going to break my silence for just a few minutes, because I have something I really feel I need to share.  So, bear with me as I open my heart and make myself vulnerable just a bit.

I made a mistake in leaving Sprouts.  There is no denying that and I am no longer going to hide that fact.  What's done is done and I cannot change that.  I have also sinned greatly in repeatedly lashing out at you all when all you were trying to do was help me out.  For that I am truly sorry.  You don't know how much it hurts for me to know that I have repeatedly lashed out when those who know me in real life know that is not like me at all.  That said, I acknowledge I have failed at previous call centers.  I am well aware of my struggles in that industry.  I am not going to play the "what-if" game anymore when it comes to my time at Sprouts.  I can't do that to myself.  I have to make this new call center work.  I have no choice.  J-Mann pointed out to me privately on Facebook and so has my mother that this is my 3rd job in 2015 and we are barely into April.  We still have 3/4 of the year left.  So, I cannot worry about my call center struggles.  I have to put that totally behind me.  I have to make this work.  I am challenging myself to make this my last job in 2015.  To be more clear, my challenge to myself (and my mother's challenge to me) is to stick with this job through the last 8 1/2 months of 2015.  I want to still be working here when the calendar turns to 2016.  I want to stay here a lot longer than that, of course, but I figure that is a good start.  This job only pays $10.00 an hour, which is officially 28 cents more than Sprouts.  That's not a big increase, but again I'm not going to play the "what-if" game anymore.  I have asked my family, my Facebook friends and family, and I am asking you guys to put to the side how bad I have hurt you all, to help me embrace this job with all the challenges and rewards it will bring.  I have to remember that this job will bring good days, but it will also bring bad days.  Every time I talk about a bad day, I need everyone, if they feel led to, to remind me of my challenge and to encourage me.  I ask everyone be honest with me, as painful as that might be for me initially, and not to tickle my ears.  I won't post about it much on the forum except maybe a few snippets here and there, so I am mainly asking my Facebook group.  I definitely won't be posting as detailed as I did with all of the previous jobs.  But, I do ask that if you feel led to, and I understand if you don't, to ask me either on the Update or privately, how the job is going every now and then.  Be nice about it, and I will respond to it in a cordial, adult, honest and transparent manner.  For that reason, I am not going to completely close off the Update.  I won't post near as much on it, but I will respond to the genuine questions.  I will try not to foolishly lash out or get defensive either.  I am 24 days away from my 33rd birthday and it is long past time for me to settle down into a job and stick with it.

Thank you for listening to me and respond how you like (but keep it cordial, please).

yeah I'm starting to move into the "close Update and ban Bushie" camp, I really don't see anywhere else to go from here...
I think the more important part is just to ban the Update threads.

That's been tried several times before, but people (including Bushie) just continue talking about the same stuff in different threads, pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable slowly until the FC mods give up and let Update return.

And that was back when we had a rather active FC moderator in Inks.  No offense to the current FC mods, but they're not as quick to respond to reported posts as he was, and aren't patrolling this board as regularly.  And none of them seem to have the desire to moderate this board aggressively enough to keep Update off of it.  I don't really see any way to kill Update for good, other than banning Bushie.

All I have to say is that I have lost all faith, confidence, respect and trust in Jeff Brown. (Granted, the amount I had to begin with was never abundant.)

I honestly do not want to hear anything else about his life on this Forum unless it's something that completely flies in the face of everything he usually does.

Unless he's posting about how he's celebrating his one year anniversary at Call Center X and has been promoted to shift supervisor, I don't want to hear it. Unless he's posting about how he's going to the gym a few times a week, eschews fast food and has gotten down to 200 pounds, I don't want to hear it. Unless he's posting about how he's officially debt free, I don't want to hear it.

If he's just going to continue down his Highway to Hell filled with Braum's and binge watching third-rate sporting events and naps and pissing away money, then, "go away and sin no more, but if that effort be too great, ... go away at any rate."

Bushie, did you go to college immediately after high school? Or did you wait a few years?

This guy from my facebook was a heckuva a lot fatter than Bushie at his peak and was delivering pizzas, and now he's lost 100 lbs. I realize it's hard to read the small print, but 278 is his new weight and everybody is very happy he is no longer 378 (He's about 5'10). And he's a really good employee. Bushie's weight is not the problem regarding his unemployment. It is really bad for his health, and I'm sure it makes moving harder, but it isn't like people his size can't work. They definately can.

You were 19 when you finished high school? Any particular reason you were a year behind?

Bushie, if you agree that you made a mistake leaving Sprouts, why haven't you called and begged for your job back? Pride?

You should've done it this morning, but you still might get it if you do it tonight or tomorrow. Beg. Cry if you need to. Play the Christian card. This is potentially life-changing, and you've got to do whatever you can to try to make it happen.

I have never read the update, nor have I ever wanted to read the update, and I've always found it absolutely bizarre that people have had such interest in the life of one man that they've never met.

After reading the last 5-10 pages of this thread, I now understand why the update is so popular. This is porn for the socially awkward. It is literally reaffirming--at least for me--to know that no matter how badly I f--k up in this life, I could never f--k up this badly.

I genuinely don't know what to say beyond that. This is a circus.

Edit: I just thought about this...Bushie, have you ever thought about committing a crime and going to jail? Not like murder or anything, but something like sh-tting on the floor in a Sears or something? I'm dead serious. I think prison might be a good step to changing yourself. It's structured, and you don't get to leave because your feet hurt.

It wasn't always this bad, of course. The first few episodes of Update were, well I wouldn't say uplifting, but at least a lot more optimistic. There was a sense that Bushie was going somewhere in his life, in his own bizarre way. Most people didn't start to lose faith in him until about season 7, when he attempted to murder a puppy and stole money from his parents for porn.

This quote from Season IV is just sad in context.

Jeff thought $26K was "measley" (sic) in 2010. Since then, he hasn't come anywhere close to making that much money.

Update started in 2009.  Time flies.  Bushie was much more likable then.

Ideally, Bushie would have had stable employment at Sprouts and rekindled his relationship with Allison. The Series Finale would have been the wedding. That would have been the ideal ending to Update.

With this latest debacle, now is probably as good of time as ever to end Update. Shows can't go on forever and if we keep continuing, Bushie will kick the bucket in a few years and having Update be active at that time would be a little fucked up.

Like Boris I still can't comprehend why Bushie would NOT put in a two weeks notice at ONG (which he could've just rescinded and avoided the whole fiasco) but felt it neccesary to put in on HERE.
He was already on thin ice with ONG. Because the Update began right when he left there, it gave the incorrect perception that his life was not already in shambles. To the contrary, he had major attendance issues at ONG and only worked there for about as long as he worked in Utah. When Update began, he was already super obese, had already burned through a scam life insurance job (that he left a good job with Papa at NG to take) a scam vacuum job, and probably other crazy things too. We were all very late to the party and for a very long time gave him a benefit of doubt that he clearly did not deserve.

I'm pretty sure he was at ONG for around two years, though it's possible he was on thin ice and had just survived under the radar until then. And yeah they were many scam jobs pre-Update that we just learned about now and hence had more faith in him back then.

And Bushie, I agree if you ask Sprouts to take you back and they say no, then it's time to stop talking about Sprouts. But YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO ASK THEM.

Agreed. If Bushie swallows his pride and asks for his job back, we should all agree to drop the subject.
