A sudden increase in exercise for Bushie would actually be a very bad idea given his girth and general level of health (for want of a kinder way of putting it). There are certain risks attached. Which is a sad thing to type as normally this only starts becoming a concern to people in their 50s or so. Fortunately we can be sure that Bushie has absolutely no intention whatsoever of going down that particular path to inadvertent suicide.

What he needs to do instead is slowly increase his activity levels and to do so over the longterm. And ideally also decrease the amount that he eats (smaller portions, no seconds, a crackdown on snacking, no binge eating, etc). Small changes of that sort - if they become permanent - have an infinitely higher chance of helping him to deflate (so to speak) than what usually gets peddled here.

Were he to actually make small incremental (and cumulative) changes to his lifestyle there's no doubt that it would do him the world of good. Reputable medical opinion would agree with me on this matter. But you are quite correct to say that he's unlikely to do this in a serious manner. Now, I would suggest that there are likely to be reasons for this and that he should see people about that... but hello brick wall. Alas.

He needs to go all in on diet and exercise or he might as well not go at all.

Most people who go on crash diets regain their lost weight with remarkable speed (the diet industry is essentially a scam, though so far a unique one in that Bushie has never fallen for it) for reasons that ought to be pretty obvious. I would submit that the man who struggles to avoid eating vast quantities of food that he knows to cause him headaches is perhaps unlikely to be one of the minority that keep lost weight off. As for exercise, he is in such catastrophically bad shape at the moment that going all in on it would be potentially fatal (though as he's more likely to convert to Islam than become a gym freak, this is purely hypothetical).

...the hell? Firstly, you're a young man. I mean for God's sake. You think only teenagers work that sort of job? Ridiculous. Secondly, your job was hardly physically demanding. If you found it too hard then you need to see a doctor immediately. Thirdly, you would be surprised at how long people can work an actually physically demanding job (this lily livered forum of bourgeois suburbanites has given you the wrong idea about that - probably because they've confused athleticism with physical strength in a more practical sense - which you have enthusiastically seized on... as is your wont). Even by your (low) standards this is a pathetic excuse. Absolutely pathetic.

Firstly, that's also bollocks: there are plenty of lard arses working in that kind of job and this 'Sprouts' chain would not have hired you if they thought you physically incapable of the job. Businesses are not charities (even if some charities are businesses). Secondly, if you think that you're too fat to work anything other than a desk job EAT LESS. Gluttony is a Sin, Bushie. Surely you were taught that?

Bushie after all the lying you at least owe us to answer this truthfully:

When you gave your two weeks notice, were you told to keep working the remaining two weeks, or were you just escorted out and terminated immediately?

The patterns now imply the latter but we haven't gotten a real answer yet.

I was let go immediately.  That said, at least I offered the customary two-weeks notice.

Option b) then.

You know, Jeff, this sort of behavior is deeply Unchristian. And do to it in Holy Week - on Good Friday no less - as well?

I just don't understand you, Bushie, but I do think you are both mentally and physically incapable of work. That's not an insult, that's a reality. I wish you'd get help and apply for disability so at least your father would get a break financially

Unless he could get himself diagnosed with a new condition or do himself an injury there's no way that he'd be eligible. Of course given the way he acts sometimes perhaps he will eventually put in a fraudulent claim (urgh).

Am I the only who thinks that the past ten pages are incredibly dark?

Nope. It's seriously grim stuff.
