Tom Cotton (unfortunately)
Ted Cruz (unfortunately)
Gary Peters
Brian Schatz
Chris Coons
James Lankford
Ben Sasse
Shelly Moore Capito
Chris Murphy
Martin Heinrich (assuming that he is not elected as Vice President in 2016)
Tim Scott
Mike Lee (unfortunately)
Kirsten Gillibrand

I don't see Joni Ernst and Thom Tillis surviving past 2020 and ultimately see Cory Gardner serving only 2 terms. Also, assuming that Maggie Hassan, Kamala Harris and Tammy Duckworth are elected in 2016 and if Ann Wagner, Bill Haslam and Evan Jenkins get elected in 2018, then they will all still be in office 25 years from now.

K guys, I want to give a dose of reality. Give it up. Maggie likes being Governor. She isn't running for Senate. Give it up.

Hawaii has to thank Neil Abercrombie big time for appointing Schatz. He will build up so much seniority.

Schatz, Coons, Lankford, Scott, Murphy, Heinrich, Murkowski, Thune, Lee.

Sasse, Booker, Cotton, Cruz and Gillibrand seem a tad too ambitious to stay in the Senate, so they're out. That said if they don't run for President there's no reason why they shouldn't be in the Senate 25 years from now.

Also it's a bit strange that most of the younger Senators seem to be male.

Republican politicians are still disproportionately male, white, and Christian.

Do you not understand the meaning of disproportionate? One person doesn't disprove his post.

I wonder who, in 1977, would've said Strom Thurmond, or who would've said Robert Byrd in 1984.

Seriously?

Making this even worse is the fact that Mia Love lost in 2012 and nearly lost in 2014, one of the largest Republican waves in the past century, in a R+14 district, mainly because Jim Matheson and her 2014 opponent are both white. Doug Owens lost by 4,000 votes in 2014. Although he'll probably lose in 2016 during an expected rematch, he has a chance to win solely on the fact of who Mia Love is, which is sad.

Just look at any stat about ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. regarding who votes/is voting for and the actual composition of Congress. The idea that you're arguing that Republicans are not just the party of old white men and married white women is unfathomable. Cherry picking politicians that refute an overall conclusion about diversity within today's political parties is like quoting one sentence out of a 500 page book, writing a term paper on that one sentence, and ignoring the existence of the rest of the book.

Muh Susana Martinez. Muh Nicki Haley. Muh Republican party.

His point still stands. They are disproportionally male, white, and Christian (actually universally on that last one almost).

One black Congressperson from Utah who barely won in a ruby red district doesn't make a big difference.
