Most of the nation rejects Jackson, but splits in the right-leaning vote allow Jackson to win a few northern farm states as well as left-leaning states. Bush is seen as a voice of reason by many.


Jackson 190 EV / 34% PV
Robertson 36 EV / 21% PV
Bush 312 EV / 42% PV
Barr 0 EV / 2% PV
Paul 0 EV / 1% PV

Paul (Libert.) would have gotten my vote in this scenario, esp considering my mindset of 1988. In hindsight, probably Bush.
