Cricket, and to a lesser extent soccer. Don't have a strong opinion of hockey, don't really enjoy the other three for various reasons (though I'm certain that would change if I was American rather than Australian - I do really enjoy the more Australian forms of football).

I like Australian football a lot and I watch a good deal of it. Rugby league bores me.
Yeah I see what you mean, despite being from NSW I consider myself a bigger fan of Aussie rules than rugby league.

In terms of overall fandom:

Baseball
American Football
Hockey
Soccer

Of those, I have to say I really enjoy the game of hockey the most of all. Unfortunately, I know very few people that also enjoy it (outside of supporting Team USA in the Olympics, where a lot more Americans tend to find their hockey bone). I really do wish more Americans liked hockey.

(Also, I expect my interest in the NFL to drop substantially if and when the Patriots begin to falter.)

i'm not much of a sports person but i'll watch mma (which should be on the list... seriously) or boxing sometimes. anyway out of the above hockey. occasionally i'll tune into it to see the fights or enjoy a bruins game with people.

Just the Big Four. Mostly Boston (rabid Pats/Celtics/Red Sox) fan. Especially considering how a bunch of scrappy young guys (without any real star power) manage to pull a playoff run out of their asses. Also Brad Stevens

I like to play soccer, basketball, baseball, and football. I only like to watch baseball and basketball, though I don't really follow any professional sport.

1. Baseball (huge Angels fan due to my dad, wife likes the Mariners)

BIG gap

2. American football (Seahawks fan due to wife and no LA team)
3. College football (Generally like USC, UW, WSU, EWU for various reasons)
4. College basketball (Gonzaga fan due to wife, also like UW)

I have a positive opinion of hockey, but I don't watch it much. I generally like the Ducks and Canucks.

While I have a positive opinion of the Sounders, I can't stand watching soccer.

I picked cricket, baseball, basketball, and football, but I like (and follow) a large number of sports. As everyone here ought to know, baseball has always been my favorite sport; for years my second-favorite was football, but now it's basketball. I strongly prefer college football to professional football, whereas with basketball I can acknowledge that the professional version is better while still caring much more about college. I like tennis and I wish I knew more about it. I've never really been able to get into soccer or hockey.

I enjoy a lot of other sports (my partiality to gymnastics has been well noted), but the most obscure sport I seriously follow is probably lacrosse. From an aesthetic standpoint, I prefer the women's game to the men's; it's much easier to watch, largely because there's less hitting and more passing. I am a serious fan of the Maryland Terrapins, the #1 women's lacrosse team in the country; I was one of the 1,500 in attendance last Saturday when Maryland defeated #5 Syracuse, 10-7. At this point I fully expect a second consecutive national championship.

I wish the SEC played lacrosse -- I've flipped past ACC, etc., games on TV and it seems like something I could get into.

When I came here I decided to get into lacrosse just because it's something that people here do, but I really like it a lot now. I still don't think I'll ever stop looking down on male lacrosse players as people who weren't good enough to play baseball, though.
