I have presented this bill in behalf of former Representative cinyc, who brought to my attention constitutional errors in the original bill that need to be corrected.
---------------------------------
Cinyc:

The original Blackmail law has major problems.  For starters, the CJO simply cannot be prosecutor and judge at the same time.  The original law does that.  Also, no region has the power to ban someone from voting in regional elections.  There is an old court case that invalidated the South's attempt to create different requirements to vote in regional elections than the federal elections.  Plus, I think Section 1 is far too vague, but if the Assembly wants to vote for it, so be it.
--------------------------------
This bill corrects these constitutional errors found in the original bill.

Former Representative cinyc is most welcome to elaborate further on this bill should he choose.

That's what I think. Seems stupid to have the CJO as a form of Judge, and an election officer

I don't see a problem with the CJO's current role, but we're definitely going to need an AG to prosecute...

Can we leave the AG issue for another bill as it would require a lot of work to get in?

I don't think it's necessary. I'm fairly sure some our prosecutors can deal with prosecution itself.
