I don't use it but the internet is always changing and evolving so complaining about this or hashtags or whatever just makes you look like an old fogey.

The usage of the fake word "muh" is far more annoying than ">".  (Though yes, both are annoying.)

I still don't understand what both of them mean.  But, kids on the internet.
